There are quite a few important keyboard shortcuts that can really save some time when entering data and moving around in AX 2012. One in particular – hitting the ESC key when you’re in a form – is one that new users don’t seem to get right away. I’ve seen a lot of records saved that shouldn’t have been because people clicked “Close” instead of escaping out of a form.
I took the contents of the Help file from this MSDN page and put them together in this Excel spreadsheet so it would be easier to boil them down to the most important ones. Here’s what I put together to share with my users so they can post this next to their screen until they get used to their favorites:
